On Monday, for Woodland Play, we went in search of straw and sticks to make the little pig's houses. Mummy Pig sent us a letter saying how lonely she was feeling so we mixed white and red paint to make pink, and painted little pig pictures to go on her wall. In large construction we used lots of different materials to make houses for our little pigs.
We have also been learning to listen carefully. We went on a listening walk around school and we have been playing lots of listening games, including listening to the CD to guess the animal noise. The children are settling in beautifully and look forward to "Little Red Riding Hood" next week.
