11 Plus Assessment Days

Are you considering the Trafford Grammar School Consortium 11+ Test for your child?

11+ Assessment Day

Monday 29th June 2026 | 9:30am – 2:30pm

As one of Trafford's leading independent schools, Abbotsford Preparatory School has an outstanding track record of preparing children for success in the 11+ and beyond.

We are proud of the excellent outcomes achieved by our pupils, with recent destinations including Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, Withington Girls' School, Loreto Grammar School, Cheadle Hulme School, Stockport Grammar School, Manchester High School for Girls and Alderley Edge School for Girls.

Our 11+ Assessment Day is open to children currently in Years 1 to 4 and provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight into your child's academic potential.

Through a comprehensive assessment process, we identify strengths, highlight areas for development and assess future 11+ potential. Following the assessment, parents will receive detailed individual feedback, helping them better understand their child's academic profile and providing personalised recommendations to support their future educational journey.

Assessment Fee: £65 per child

Should your child subsequently join Abbotsford Preparatory School, you will receive a £250 reduction on your first term's fees. Depending on assessment performance, children may also be considered for an academic bursary of up to 5%.
